Hanging man candle stick is universally accepted as bearish. SInce it is a red candle stick that forms after an uptrend. Yet your analysis does not apply.

You state: If it has a close below the open and it closes below the halfway mark, then it’s a bearish candlestick pattern.
– The hanging man does close below the open but does not close below the halfway mark. Yet it is a universally known bearish candlestick.

You then state: Under body location, “If the body closes above the halfway mark, it’s considered bullish. If you noticed, there are two colors on the bodies. It means that it doesn’t matter whether the color of the body is bullish or bearish.”
– The hanging man does have a body that closes above the halfway mark and it is definitely not bullish.

You then discuss the bullish pin bar as a good entry strategy again showing a pin bar that is red above the mid point which is like a hanging man….

Please explain then why the hanging man pattern is bearish?

Love this post. Will put it to try tomorrow. I’ve been having a lot of problem when trading stock. Lost more than 1/2 of my fund already.

I can’t seem to place order quickly enough so I ended up kept raising the price. Eventually ended up with position higher than my planned price.

I will try this strategy with market order and hoping to recover the 70% I lost in the past month T_T
